Small Space Organizing
Do small spaces seem to be a problem to organize? It’s always a bit of a challenge for me…because I am convinced there won’t be enough room to store all my stuff. So it is with our master bedroom closet! And actually, it’s a nice size walk-in closet measuring 12×8 feet. My husband and I share this space…and we’ve needed to get our small space organized for several years!

I had specific needs for clothing storage! I don’t have a dresser where I store my clothes…therefore, I needed plenty of space for folded clothes to be in easy reach. Can you believe I use to just toss my t-shirts in a basket?! When I found the Better Homes & Garden Charleston Closet Collection, I knew it was the perfect fit for my needs! The 6 Shelf Organizer holds folded clothes neatly, and I can visually see what I have available to wear. The Garment Bags are the perfect way to store special pieces like a wedding gown or suit.
The Collapsible Bins fit nicely on the top rack, and I’ve filled them with small items like swimsuits, winter gloves, hats, and boots. I even have two that are empty! I love the 4 shelf closet organizer for storing jeans and hanging extra pants from the bottom. These Better Homes & Garden closet pieces allow for maximum storage, and I love utilizing every inch!
The under bed storage zipper bags are the ultimate space saver! Instead of under our bed, I used them here in our closet for storing family photos. And the under bed rolling storage bins hold my huge winter coats and keepsakes. I feel so organized! I can find everything so easily now!
And one of my favorite organizers is the two over the door shoe pockets. One holds 24 pairs of shoes! The other one is perfect for sandals and socks! They are sturdy and perfect for getting all those shoes off the closet floor 🙂
And lastly, the 3 Bag Wheeled Laundry Sorter is a perfect fit for the center of our closet. My husband and I can have our own compartment for dirty clothes. And take a look at the easy removal bins! It’s simple to just roll into the laundry room on washing day! And it matches all the other pieces! It feels like a breath of fresh air in my closet now!
