Gingerbread! It’s truly the epitome of the Christmas season, is it not?

Our all time favorite tradition every Christmas is to bake gingerbread together and decorate cookies…and it will all happen this week! My mom started this for all the grandkids many years ago. Since she’s been gone, we’ve kept the tradition going. We put on our matching aprons, roll out the dough, and icing gets all over everything! It’s so much fun!!

But I took a quiet minute on Sunday to make some gingerbread cupcakes. I found these cutie gingerbread sprinkles at TJMaxx and just had to get them!

I’m going to just share the photos here, so that you can enjoy them! I used a box gingerbread mix from Walmart. It turned out so yummy! If you don’t have any traditions yet, a gingerbread baking party is one to start!
