How in the world do you decorate for Fall when it’s 97 degrees outside? Well, here in Louisiana, it comes around every year…while everyone’s sharing pumpkins and sweaters, we’re down here just trying to ride-out the humidity and hair-dryer hot wind that September brings. (There are affiliate links throughout my post)
However, that doesn’t mean you can count me out for Fall decor! I just have to set the mood in my home…First, I turn down the air conditioner. Next, make some hot Pumpkin Spice Coffee. And last, light all my favorite FALL candlesÂ
I filled the large wooden Mango Urns with pear branches and placed them at the end of the farm table. This keeps the centerpiece low for conversation 🙂
As always, I’m on the lookout for natural decor. I love branches, blooms, or anything that’s free! And… a sweet neighbor let me cut some of their pear branches. So, I lined this baquette tray with the pears. I found the leaf mugs and plates from HOMEGOODS, along with the green stripe napkins and amber glasses. The gold plates are Pioneer Woman from Walmart. And the cutest GATHER wooden tags from Krumpets Home Decor. Using several other white plates I already have, I just layered the place settings. The table cloth is actually a vintage French linen sheet.
I filled my French harvest basket with real pear branches and a mix of dried and faux branches from Hobby Lobby. Remember, it’s ok to mix real with faux branches…and it adds a pop of color with the greenery. And I used the most fabulous Vintage Candle Holders from Purple Rose Home to hold the fabric pumpkins from Flax and Willow. I’ve yet to go out searching for real pumpkins just yet. So faux comes in handy for early Fall.
You probably know by now, I love my neutral home decor! I love adding pops of color when it comes to decorating for all the seasons. Fall is such a favorite of mine, even if we Southerners have to wait a little longer. I’ll be sharing other rooms soon! Please come back to visit!

Blessings!
