Hey my friends, I’m happy you’re stopping in today 🙂 Welcome to all my new followers, I’m so glad you are here! And I’m thrilled to announce the Buckets of Burlap Facebook Page reached 1000 likes this weekend…WOW!! Thanks so much for following along 🙂 I’ve been very fortunate to come across a couple of antique bread boards. I love the detail and craftsmanship of these antique boards, and added them to my growing collection. The vendor told me they were from Germany… what do you know about these?? I’m blown away by the response to my last giveaway, thank you to all who entered, followed, and shared 🙂 You are all precious to me & I appreciate each of you! And the winner of the FOLK magazine giveaway is comment #24 (Anne said… 24 ) who happens to have a beautiful blog, White Lace Cottage… Congratulations Anne! Hopefully after the weekend, the kitchen will be ready for the reveal 🙂 Blessings
Congratulations to Anne!! I am sure she is thrilled!
Nice old breadboards too!!
Blessings~
OMGoodness, I love those boards. That bucket is pretty yummy too.
Congratulations to Anne. The photos of the lovely bucket and bread boards are lovely. We have a great Pioneer Village in Toronto, Ontario and the 'townspeople/staff' make things from the era, including bread boards similar to those. All carved by hand with tools pioneers used and with 'bread' or a wedding date etc. on them. They are custom order and quite expensive. I love that yours look like they have seen many years of use and could very well be authentic.
Beautiful bread boards and photos. Congratulations to Anne!
I love your bread boards. I have one myself. I also have a bread knife with the word "bread on it just like the boards. They do come from Germany and England I believe. Great find!

OMG! I had seen bread boards like that At Cookstown Antiques Market this past weekend.
I picked it up and there was no price.
Each booth is independent so there wasn't anyone there that could help me.
Too bad I would have bought it.
