I brought inside to add some color.
of spring green to the den.
My kids helped me gather these blooming branches from a tree on
the side of the road 🙂
Have you ever stolen borrowed branches from back roads in the country?
I really have fun with photography now that I “sort of” know
how to use my camera.
Takes lots of practicing. Flowers are the best subject.
Check out my new french pillow slipcover.
I got it from Andrea at Faded Plains when she had an incredible 1/2 off sale 🙂
I love it! The texture and softness is fabulous.
She packaged it beautifully, with so many little vintage extras.
I used a texture from Photobucket for this shot:
And a grain texture to this one:
Did you know Donna at Funky Junk Interiors is having a
“Bringing the Outdoors In” Saturday Nite Special??
Well, I am joining the party, how about you?
Thanks so much for visiting today,
have a fabulous weekend 🙂
Blessings

Beautiful! I love that blossom! I think I'm about to commit my first crime (stealing branches, LOL! 😉 I have just started to notice a few trees around here. We got some heavy rains and wind this week though, hopefully that didn't damage them.
I am thinking I'd love to get some faux white blossoms at the craft store, to have permanently!!
Have a happy weekend!

Gorgeous pictures! I really like the 3rd to the last picture. The flowers look beautiful with your color scheme. They really pop! Nothing wrong with borrowing a few flowers. They found a good home 🙂
Beautiful! Our red buds won't be around for a couple months yet. Thanks for cheering me with yours!

Ok, girl, your pictures look amazing. I wish I had you here to help me take pictures for my Etsy shop.
Good night and sleep well.
Beautiful!
Love that old door!!
Hi Becky,
I love the redbud…reminds me of my grandmother…she had a tree and gave me one that I planted at a previous home….memories.
LOL about taking pictures of flowers…much easier, than say, children? Still shots are much more cooperative, no? Great shots!
Rene
THANK YOU for the sweet anniversary wishes…we had a wonderful time together
Beautiful Pictures! Yes flowers are great subjects to photograph and I have helped "prune" several trees along the back roads!
Becky, Your pics are stunning! Love the pics of your room and your decor. Yes, I have stopped and picked branches from the side of the road ~ wild rose hips. I can't wait to have some spring color in our home.
Have a great Sunday!

Your photography is just SO GREAT! Very inspirational. I also "borrow" blooms and greenery often…I am surprized I haven't been arrested yet.
What beautiful pictures Becky. Those flowers add the perfect touch of spring to your home. I wonder what they are? Hope you're having a nice weekend 🙂
Love the branches. They are amazing and really make it feel like Spring.

Just beautiful!! Hugs,

Love the red buds! Great photos too. I'm still learning on my blog. Yes I have for years picked things in fields. When my children were young I did it all the time. I haven't done it for a while, but am forcing buds from my pussywillow and forsythia now. A lot of the farm land and open wooded areas where I live are gone now. Sad to say, I miss them. Wish I had taken some of the wildflowers home.
Great photos and I love the pop of color your spring branches add!
Very very beautiful! I love these, especially the vintage! =)
Wonderful blog….love the red buds! I will have to go cut some myself now:)
Very nice and inspirative blog!
Your photos are beautiful and the buds are so wonderful to see! I can't wait for Spring.
The redbuds in spring
remind me of when we
lived in Indiana. We
had one planted in our
front yard when our
daughter turned one.
I'd love to see it, now!
Yours are beautiful.
xx Suzanne

plenty of times….out here, a lot of the trees just spring up (pun intended) by the farm creeks…like the one by our farm
there is a crab-apple tree I was thinking of "pruning" today actually 🙂
love the redbuds…they certainly don't last long enough!
Just beautiful, Becky!
I've missed you, while I've been in my desert time. Everything is just as beautiful here as I remember. 🙂
Big hugs,
Anne
