I decided to try my old crate above our island.  I hung lavender and mint from the crate.  But I think I could add an egg basket or two. drying rack   island drying rack This weekend, our kitchen will undergo another transformation.  We are installing new cabinets & countertops 🙂 I’ll show you the finished photos soon.. wooden drying rack I’d also like to ask if you would please take a moment to check out my new Sponsor, French Charmed. 22. Hi Becky,
I love that old sieve/crate and how you are using it in your kitchen…very clever and yes, some wire egg baskets would be awesome hanging there too. I'm looking forward to seeing your kitchen project as it progresses! I wanted to tell you that I received my copy of Artful Blogging and truly enjoyed your article. I really identified with your broken heart at the loss of your Mother…how important she was to you and how some healing has come through your blog. I too, lost my Mom to cancer just a year ago and miss her dearly. Your blog is delightful and I am happy that it has been recognized and featured in Artful Blogging. Good for you! 🙂
    Take care, Laura
