A Christmas Kitchen Island
I hope everyone is staying warm this Christmas season.
I wanted to share with you my kitchen island decorated for Christmas.
The decor is simple, once again, with light touches of red.
I used plain jars with white lids for staples such as pasta, beans, and oats.
These were old spaghetti sauce jars that I cleaned and recycled 🙂
Just adding a touch of ribbon gives them a festive glow.
This is a view from the top.
I hung an old white curtain rod to serve as a pot hanger above the island.
Using twine, I also added old kitchen utensils with wooden red handles
to tie in the Christmas red.
Do you recycle items for storage or decorating?
I sure do appreciate you all stopping by to see my Christmas decor!
I wanted to say thanks for all the sweet comments on our new mantel!
(If you missed that post, you can find it on the sidebar)
I am enjoying all of the Christmas ideas from blogland…
and I’ll have more to come soon.
