Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape

Happy November! It’s already November? How did that happen? I’m excited about the upcoming Holiday season! This is definitely the most wonderful time of the year 🙂 DSC_1383 Although I’m so eager to start decorating for Christmas, I’ve still got a few Thanksgiving posts to share. And today I want to show you how to create an easy-casual Thanksgiving table. I used two hemp linen grainsacks on the table, basic white ironstone dishes, and a simple pumpkin centerpiece. DSC_1392 I used a turkey platter as the base for the centerpiece, then added an heirloom pumpkin and ironstone pitcher full of fresh cut lavender from the garden. To create a rustic, elegant place setting, I used a sprig of lavender and a cinnamon stick tied up with twine on a basic white napkin. Sliding the spoon inside the twine adds a little sparkle 🙂 DSC_1411 And to create a little cozy ambience, I added tea lights to the molds in each bowl. Simple water glasses finish off each place setting…perfect for brunch on Thanksgiving Day 🙂 DSC_1389 The soft, subtle fall colors go well with all the white, don’t you think? What will your Thanksgiving table look like this year? Fancy or casual? DSC_1410 After a year full of tough times, I’m very thankful for family and friends. Thank you for following along here on my blog! You always make my day with sweet words of encouragement! Hi Becky. It's indeed a blessed time of the year and here it's cozy with a simple country beauty that does not distract from the buffet of Giving of Thanks.
This is a setting that could fit right in at my home.

    Have a beautiful November.

  16. Love your table and bench and settings. We're trying to keep it causal this year so I'm stealing some of your ideas.
