Around the Table
Open the windows, clip some fresh blooms from the flower garden, and pull out your best dishes 🙂 It’s time to gather around the table! 
Just like Spring is my favorite season, setting a table is one of my favorite things to do for my family. I enjoy the process…Layering of textiles, stacking of dishes, and creating a setting using items we already own. The natural, simplistic decor appeals to me…fresh fruit, hemp linens, cutting boards, and ironstone are my go-to items. 
Blooms from our popcorn plant in ironstone crocks are the two short centerpieces. At the end of the farmtable, I placed a vintage watering can full of pink blossom branches from my sister-in-law’s yard 🙂 
Marinated pork tenderloin, broccoli salad, cucumber bunny-shaped sandwiches…all of these items are some of my favorites to make this time of year 🙂 Of course, this table would be perfect for a group of friends to gather around and catch-up over coffee and desserts, don’t you think? 
In the next few weeks, we’ll be dying eggs. You can read about one of our favorite Easter traditions here – dying eggs naturally with spices and veggies 🙂
