House Tour- Our Dining Room

Hi friends!  How is everyone? I sure hope you have found some time to have fun & relax this summer! After our Barn Sale, we have had some much needed “down time” 🙂 Today I’m sharing the first part in our House Tour series- our Dining Room. It’s been quite a while that I’ve shared any rooms…so I decided to freshen up, and start with the dining room 🙂 Beware, there are lots of photos ahead… Dining room farm table Dining room chandelier Dining room bench Dining room blue cabinet Dining room both tables Dining room bucket Dining room buffet basket Dining room buffet Dining room doors A few updates for those who are new here at Buckets of Burlap: My husband is an excellent carpenter 🙂 He built our farmhouse table & bench, the long buffet table, and he built the mantel around the fireplace. I just do the painting…our walls have two coats of “Cotton Fluff”, by BEHR. You may be wondering why there is a fireplace in our dining room…well, when we had our house built with an open floor plan, this room served as our family room. However, we could never get our furniture to work right in this space. Therefore, we switched this area to serve as the dining room, and it works well for us. Turns out, this is probably my favorite room to decorate 🙂 Dining room from kitchen view Dining room hearth Dining room mantel Dining room hanging vase Dining room Jovi Dining room side table 2 Dining room mercury glass vase Dining room hutch Dining room grain sacks Dining room French drying rack Dining room Dining room French harvest basket Next up in our House Tour… the Farmhouse Kitchen Kitchen & buffet Thanks so much for sticking with me through tons of photos 🙂 And if you have an extra few minutes…please take time to listen to our girl’s exciting musical opportunity: Blessings to you all !

I really really love this. Did I read some where that your home is a modular/mobile home? I cant seem to remember. We are currently living in a mobile home and are trying to give it a farmhouse look. It is so hard to find inspiration in doing this. Your home really inspires me! Thank you for sharing!

I´m a Swedish woman, who has a french blog(I live part time in Provence). I just LOVE your diningroom….Everything in it is inthis rustique style that I adore. Seeing this inspired me to paint a "thing" which looks like the one you have on your diningtable, but I keep CDs in it…on the floor!
